I was going to order a different brand of spicy jerky slabs but they were out of stock so I gave Werner’s a try. I’m so glad I did. The jerky is nice, thick, and juicy and they don’t skimp on the crushed red peppers. I will only buy this from now on!

The jerky itself was amazing, and so was the flavor of the product in general.
Only problem was the sheer OVERPOWERING spiciness in of itself made this practically un-eatable with just how much pepper flakes and seeds were covering it, it was like an entire dump truck of grinded chili flakes and pepper seeds were just plopped onto each slab and each one tasted like a literal California Reaper, instead of just a simple heat.
Again, the only thing that did it in for me was the immense amount of excess chili flakes, if that was dumbed down a lot then this product would be perfect.
